My Poetry: The Goddess to Me

Goddess

The Goddess to Me

The Goddess is like a Mother,

She watches over me and nurtures me.

She encourages me to grow and learn,

To become independent and self-sufficient.

The Goddess is like a Sister,

Always there, a part of me,

Yet different from me.

Ready to listen to me,

No matter how trivial my troubles.

The Goddess is like a Friend,

Never judging,

No matter what mistakes I make.

She's always there, supporting me;

Yet She let's me make my own choices

And fix my own problems.

The Goddess is a Healer.

She's always there to help us heal ourselves of all wounds.

The Goddess is like a Warrior, Protecting me from those who would hurt me, She gives me the knowledge and power to protect myself. She watches over the innocent and helpless.

The Goddess is clever and compassionate, strong and gentle.

She's a Mother, a Sister, A Friend, A Healer, A Warrior, A Magician, And a Woman.

The Goddess is: Isis, Diana, Artemis, Gaia, Hekate,
The Mother.
