Remember when I mentioned the special Birthday Dinner?
Well, today's the day, and the food has been made and the feast devoured.

Steak Strips and Penne with Heavy Cream Alfredo Sauce (Thanks, Mom):
This was absolutely delicious. The dish was very simple: steak strips, mushrooms, and purple onion strips, served on a bed of Penne Pasta and covered with Alfredo Sauce. Mmmm.

Separated so that Mushroom-haters can avoid them.

The Alfredo Sauce. Homemade with Real Butter and Heavy Cream.

Breadsticks:
My brother made these for me, and they filled the house with good smells all afternoon. Soft Garlic Cheese Breadsticks, brushed with butter and garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.





Three-Bean & Onion Salad (Thanks, Mom):
This is one of my favorite salads, the oil and apple cider vinegar dressing goes perfectly with the red onions.



Red Velvet Cake with Honey Cream Cheese Frosting:
My brother made this for me from scratch. It was delicious. Very moist and soft, and the frosting complemented the cake perfectly.

So, there it is. The feast was delicious, and we're going to be eating leftovers for several days. Personally, I'm planning to have bean salad, breadsticks, and alfredo sauce for lunch tomorrow.
